Composite Doors

We install composite doors across Blandford, Poole, Bournemouth, Canford Cliffs, Sandbanks, Westbourne, Wimborne, Shaftesbury, Gillingham, Sherborne, Dorchester, Yeovil, and surrounding areas.

Our composite doors are made from layers of insulating, modern materials. They have a high-density foam core, offering excellent strength and thermal performance. Their durable Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) skin protects them from the elements. GRP is the same material that is used to make the hull of lifeboats – demonstrating just how tough it really is!

Composite doors offer the look and feel of a timber door without any of the inherent problems, such as cracking, bowing or twisting. They also don’t require painting due to their colour fast coasting. This means that unlike timber, composite doors are incredibly low maintenance. An occasional wipe over with a damp cloth will restore the door to its original finish.

Colour

All of our composite doors are available in a beautiful range of standard colours and woodgrain foils, enabling you to bring a personal touch to your home sooner and easier. This includes colour matching to the frame to ensure a stunning seamless look.

Cassette

The glazing cassettes that we offer are designed to perfectly complement the composite doors that we install, which means you are sure to enjoy the benefits of a seamless aesthetic that continues to deliver long after installation.

Letterbox

The letterbox is a staple of any door. All of the letterboxes we fit are designed to suit the Royal Mail standard and can be customised to suit a wide range of tastes and property styles. This element is sure to be a perfect fit for your door.

Handle

We have a wide selection of handle options with an even wider range of uses in designing your door. Our traditional style lever handle handle offers six different finishes: Chrome, Gold, Brushed Silver, Black, White and Antique hammered Black. Alternatively our long bar handle comes in a brushed silver effect, chrome or gold (available in 500 mm, 1200 mm and 1800 mm).

Locks

Every door is fitted with a high-end multi-point locking system that varies with each style of handle The high security locks that come with our standard handles include a 5-hook lock mechanism. The lock itself has 3 hooks. The top and bottom act as a pincer to hold the door tightly in to place whereas the central hook below the latch adds additional central security. Alternatively the long bar handles and cylinder pulls come with a 3-point deadbolt auto-fire lock which automatically activate when the door is closed.

why should you choose a composite door in dorset
Thermally Efficient

Composite doors are much more thermally efficient choice than either timber or uPVC alternatives. Our range is manufactured to achieve the highest standards of quality. This makes them more thermally efficient by design.

The warm foam core allows composite doors to be 20% more efficient than traditional, solid timber! There are also various glass options which increase thermal performance. These features can help keep your home feeling more comfortable.

Noise Reduction

Our range of composite doors aren’t just fantastic at keeping heat in your home; they are also excellent at keeping noise out. The high quality, functional materials can reduce outdoor noise by an impressive 31 dB on average!

Great sound insulation makes our composite doors perfect for modern life. Your home can stay an oasis of calm, even in the busiest, urban location. This makes them a fantastic addition to homes on busy streets or in built up areas.

GRP Skin

The thermoset GRP skin is one of the best features of our composite doors. It is insulating, weatherproof and durable. Glass Reinforced Plastic is an incredibly strong material that is used in marine environments, such as boats!

This wide-spread usage shows just how resilient and high performing GRP is. The GRP layer protects the insulated core from water damage. The GRP even has a textured, woodgrain effect, creating the look of traditional timber frames.

Highly Secure

As with all of our products, our composite doors are designed to offer you fantastic security. They feature multipoint locking, as well as handles and hardware that have been approved by Secured by Design. This is a police-backed security initiative.

Our composite doors are also made from durable components, such as resilient GRP and stainless steel hinges. This combination of features ensures that your door can withstand extended attacks from potential intruders.
