Experienced Sales Representative

Newglaze have been successfully running for over 40 years, we have our Head Office/Showroom & Stores in Blandford Forum, a Concept Superstore in Poole and a new Showroom in Salisbury. We are looking for an experienced Sales Consultant to join us on our journey as we grow our sales force. We are in an exciting growth phase and are looking to increase the size of our sales consultant team.

 

JOB OVERVIEW

We’re seeking a qualified commission only based sales consultant to help us sell the products and services that our customers have grown to rely on. The sales consultant will have a strong understanding of the sales process, excelling at generating leads, building relationships, and closing deals. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner with strong negotiating skills, and the ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way. Often tasked with giving presentations, attending sales meetings, and attending showroom days, it’s essential that our sales consultant be personable, professional and someone with energy and enthusiasm to join our friendly team and help us deliver for our customers. This is a great opportunity for an introduction into a retail & commercial environment and to join a productive sales team, where you will be an integral member.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contacting consumer enquiries to book appointments for their home improvement requirements
  • Visiting customers in their homes to provide a quotation
  • Following up on all appointments and ensuring the customer receives the best service
  • Meeting customers in our showroom and demonstrating our range of products
  • Attending a showroom day once a week-day or Saturday based in our Blandford or Poole Showroom

Trainee Sales Consultant / Assistant

JOB OVERVIEW

A varied role which exists to offer admin and support to the Sales Manager and Sales Consultants. The role requires excellent organisation skills, the ability to manage & maintain multiple tasks and someone with energy and enthusiasm to join our friendly team and help us deliver for our customers.

This is a great opportunity for an introduction into a retail & commercial environment and to join a productive sales team, where you will be an integral member. For the right candidate, there will be an opportunity to grow and to take on more responsibility and projects.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The general upkeep of our Showrooms, inclusive of ordering brochures from our manufacturers
  • Gathering prices to assist the Sales team, through use of online systems
  • Assistance in answering the telephones, by taking concise messages and ensuring customer enquiries are dealt with in an efficient way
  • Making a conscious and pro-active effort to gain knowledge from the sales team in order to take it onto further responsibility in communication with customers about our products
  • Assisting our head of commercial Sales with customer enquiries, pricing and quotations
  • Meeting and greeting customers coming into our showrooms
  • Covering showroom daily duties in our showrooms
  • Assisting with customer enquiries and quotations

 

EXPERIENCE

  • FULL TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED
  • Proficient in Outlook & Microsoft Office Packages & able to multitask across different projects and tasks
  • Exceptionally high standards with meticulous attention to detail with a smart appearance
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • A self-starter with a positive, enthusiastic ‘can do’ attitude and a down to earth approachable manner
  • A problem solver with the ability to assume responsibility and act on own initiative
  • A flexible team player with the ability to work proactively

 

Working days/hours are Monday-Friday, 9am – 5pm with an hour lunch break and Saturdays when required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Answering incoming calls/email enquiries to book in and manage our Sales Consultants appointments.
  • To co-ordinate survey appointments and taking customer deposits.
  • Preparing, completing and sending quotations for Sales Consultants.
  • To keep track of projects using our in-house database and to become highly proficient in the use of the program for the completion of daily tasks.
  • Effective data management especially the input & accuracy of customer details to ensure the greatest of professionalism.
  • Any additional admin tasks required, for example help with showroom preparation, general tidiness of our working office/topping up brochures etc.
  • Occasionally working from our Poole office when required.
  • Support the Sales Consultants in there day to day duties.
  • Upkeep of detrimental calendar to keep all informed of meetings, appointments etc.
  • Assisting with marketing queries.

Newglaze have been running for over 30 years, we have our Head Office and Showroom in Blandford Forum, a Concept Superstore in the Tower Park area and our Stores in Sturminster Newton. The main area of our business is in a 50 mile radius of Blandford Forum.

We are currently looking to add to our sales team.

We have 1 new position available and are looking for an experienced (self-employed) person.

The role will involve:

  • Establishing, developing and maintaining business relationships with current and prospective customers.
  • Making telephone calls, in-person visits and presentations to current and prospective customers.
  • Supplying management with oral and written reports on customer requirements, problems, interests, competitor activities and potential for new products or services.

The Person :

  • Smart in appearance and have a confident mature manner.
  • Computer literate.
  • Must be organised with excellent customer service and negotiating skills.
  • A full driving licence.

Job Description

Newglaze have been running for over 30 years, we have our Head Office and Showroom in Blandford Forum, a new Concept Superstore in the Tower Park area and our Stores in Sturminster Newton. The main area of our business is in a 50 mile radius of Blandford Forum.

We are currently looking to add to our installations team, areas for consideration are applicants from Poole/Bournemouth and Salisbury, other areas will be considered.

Due to an increased work load, we are looking for Experienced Double Glazing installers who have a minimum of 5 years experience in fitting PVCu Windows, Doors and Conservatories. We also fit Hardwood and Aluminum products so any experience with this is an advantage.

We are looking for a skilled team, although if you are a skilled individual we are happy to help in finding an apprentice to work with you.

The Applicant/s Must:

  • Hold either an MTC card or have a Level 2 NVQ certification in Fenestration Installation.
  • Have 5 years fitting experience of fitting Windows, Doors, Conservatories & Roofline products.
  • Be smart in appearance and have a confident and friendly manner with customers.
  • Hold a full clean driving licence.
  • Be happy to work at heights and handle heavy frames.
  • Be self-motivated and able to use your own initiative.
