With nearly 40 years experience in transforming homes, it’s safe to say that Newglaze know how to create the property you’ve been dreaming of. Back in 1980, when Newglaze was formed, the company sold white uPVC double glazed windows and doors and soon progressed on to aluminium. By the late 1980s, Newglaze had moved into conservatory installations.
In the early nineties uPVC fascias, soffits, guttering and timber windows and doors were added to the range. By 2007 Newglaze had added coloured uPVC windows, doors, conservatories and GRP flat roofing to their range, along with fully insulated aluminium roller-doors for garages in a selection of finishes including cream, green, grey and black.
In 2010 Newglaze was delighted with the completion of the new purpose-built showroom for timber windows at the company’s main site at Unit 1, Sunrise Business Park, Blandford. The showroom, which is probably the largest of its kind in Dorset, allows the firm to show a comprehensive range of fully engineered timber windows, doors and glass houses.
Take a look around our stunning showrooms. They are located in Blandford and Poole and are the largest of their kind in Dorset! Visiting one of our showrooms is the perfect way to see our full range of products set-up to replicate how they will look in a home. This means you can visualise your designs more easily.
In 2014 Newglaze was thrilled to add triple glazing to the portfolio. By choosing triple glazing you can achieve a U-value of 0.8W/m2K with standard specification glass and other components. Triple glazed windows are even more energy-efficient than modern double glazing. The thermal insulation benefit is clearly visible through the additional pane of glass and gas filled cavity.
Newglaze was pleased to announce in 2015 the iX250 roofing system. This is a bespoke, aluminium roof system, which is designed specifically to support a glazed lantern window within a flat roof area. All the sections are pre-fabricated, making it easy to transport and assemble. With a U-value of 0.18W/m2k it is an outstanding element when designing and building a living space.
In 2016 Newglaze opened its new-concept superstore, near Tower Park in Poole. This perfectly complements our other beautiful showroom in Blandford. Dorset’s largest indoor showroom has a comprehensive range of home improvement products:
Conservatories cover orangery style, solid and glazed roof designs
Doors include bi-fold, patio slider and French styles
Windows take in flush, pencilled edge lipped casement, storm proof, ovular and bevelled frames
Roofline has fascias, soffits and gutters
New England Colonial cladding can be smooth or textured wood effect, in contemporary or traditional colours.
Helpful professional and sensibly priced. Very quick and tidy installation, with no damage to surroundings.
